This weekend, to celebrate the return of many Weekend at Bernie’s jokes on Jake’s part (as well as it being on his wall), we are going to re-air the first film as well as the sequel.

A pair of young insurance office employees that uncover a insurance scandal are invited to their boss Bernie’s luxurious vacation home to distract them while he arranges their assassination. When Bernie turns up dead, the pair enact a plan to save their lives and their weekend by making it appear he is still alive, in WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S!
The duo’s misadventures continue as they attempt to use Bernie’s body to locate the money he embezzled and buried in the US Virgin Islands. Encounters with mobsters, voodoo, and insurance company reps make up the events of WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S II.

Movietime: Egyptian Decryption
Continuing on with our Egyptian exploration- well, mostly Egyptian, as we enjoy the final entries in The Mummy franchise.
First up, Imhotep is resurrected (again) with a ploy to wrest control of the ancient Army of Anubis from the Scorpion king, as once again BRENDAN FRASER and friends team up to battle evil in Egypt in THE MUMMY RETURNS.
Many years later the adventurous crew heads to China, to do battle with the ancient Dragon Emperor, JET LI, in TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR.

Movietime: Pyramid Stream
Well, after a highly unacceptable downtime, Movietime is finally back in action! This weekend we start off on Jake’s movie wall with only a side step from the above extravagance; THE MUMMY SERIES!
An adventure into the dark past of Egyptian ruins finds the cursed mummy of an ancient priest return to plague the world, as BRENDAN FRASER stars in THE MUMMY.
In the distant past, the last of the Akkadian mercenaries are hired to kill the mystic of the corrupt emperor, but become embroiled in a revolution for all of Egypt. DWAYNE JOHNSON stars in THE SCORPION KING.

Well obviously we haven’t been posting the schedules lately and we’ve been having some scheduling and technical difficulties, with BS being away and myself being busy, so I apologize for that.
However, I’m sorry to say that there will be no Movietime this weekend because BS is still away, and I will not be here! I will be leaving for Toronto to visit Hussie and friends at TCAF, so I won’t be around to stream.
Next weekend streams ( and schedule posts) should return to normal.
But I’m pretty sure Tavrisprite is the best possible guide Jane could get. Lets look at a few facts:
The last time we interacted with Vriska before act 6 was when she was getting exposition from Betatimeline!John about his Denizen.
It was implied during one of her conversations with Alphatimeline!John that Tavros may have actually talked to and interacted with his Denizen instead of fighting it.
Sprites have fairly extensive knowledge of Sburb and are expected to use that knowledge to server as guides for the players.
Jane’s story here on LOCAH is going to end with a confrontation with Hemera.
Using this information to extrapolate, it’s pretty clear we are about to get a huge chunk of Denizen exposition, ending with finally seeing an actual denizen.
Some interesting questions are raised here as well:
All of the knowledge Vriska and Tavros would have is most specifically related to Typheus. Why?
Does Tavrisprite have both Vriska and Tavros’ psychic powers?
Did Gamzee throw them into the kernalsprite SPECIFICALLY for the reasons above, and if so:
How much of this was Gamzee’s own initiative or
The instructions from someone else?
sansDaedalus has alerted me to a TERRIFYING conclusion.
The SECOND LAST TIME we saw Vriska, she was talking to Beta John about Denizens. She was receiving exposition about talking to Denizens and how they work. He theorized that if Vriska were to return, it would be to relay that exposition to the readers, and other characters.
Vriska just became a sprite, and a GUIDE for Jane. Sprites have detailed and comprehensive; if cryptic knowledge about Sburb’s inner workings. This is now available to Tavrisprite.
Vriska herself was a master of the hard game, of all the violent portions and power gaming. Tavros was a master of the puzzle-solving, the lore, and learning about the game. Tavros may have actually spoken to his denizen.
Between the two of them, they have nearly comprehensive knowledge of the game, and the firsthand experience to decipher it.
Tavrisprite is still partly Vriska, and she knows…
Everything.
